Walking a Straight Line

Or maybe a diagonal one.

I've seen so many cards lately with diagonal patterns so I assumed it must be a trend.  I'm not one to follow trends, but I thought I'd try my hands at it.

For this card, I laid (lied, lay..whatever..grammar is not my strong point) strips of red line adhesive strips on a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of ivory cardstock.  I undid the strips one by one and applied Martha Stewart Glitter to each strip in a rainbow pattern.  I used the Winged Wished stamp set from Newton's Nook Designs in the middle and paper pieced the "party flag".  So cute, so sparkly, so graphic, so diagonal!
