What was I thinking?

Over the weekend I decided that I wanted to redesign my scrap space since the scrap room fairies once again did not come to organize my space.  My husband eagerly agreed to help me and we started disassembling one of my shelves and boxing up my supplies.  Well, we didn't get as far as I had envisions, and I am left with a big MESS until we get the time to finish what we started.  I have been searching through Pinterest for storage and desk ideas and I think I have a pretty good idea of what I want to do, but my biggest obstacle is time. In the meantime, I am trying to create in the chaos - which is a daunting task!

I did manage to get this cute, festive card done yesterday.  Love this Pebbles Inc. paper and I thought it paired nicely with the Stampendous stamp.  My friend Lynda took the picture of the card displayed in front of the wooden Santa my dad made for me many moons ago. Isn't he cute??

Now back to cleaning and organizing (maybe).........

Simplicity

It's been a bit since I've posted.  I have been busy carting kids around and getting prepared for Christmas. I lost my mojo for a bit, trying to get it back.  Of course my mojo would probably come back if I spent some time organizing my scrap area.  I keep praying every night when I go to bed that the Scrap Room Fairies will magically appear while I’m asleep and clean and organize my desk.  Of course I wake up disappointed, but I will keep praying.

The theme of today’s card is simplicity.  I LOVE this stamp set by Close to My Heart.  It’s called Remarkable Wreath and not only does it have this great image for Christmas, it has banners and flowers, etc. that make the set appropriate for just about any occasion!  I’ve linked to the stamp set which is available from my favorite Close to My Heart consultant, Kathy Carr!!  You can find it Here
